We are at the time of the year when due to seasonal changes symptoms of cold and flu are common with kids and adults. Being Moms, we want to be extra careful with our munchkins especially during this pandemic situation. So here are some of the great DIY ideas to ensure a farewell to these allergy germs.
These are a few things I make sure I do for my 10-month-old which you can use for your baby too!
This one is quite simple. Whenever I give bath to my baby, I add 10 drops of COLD N FLU blend. Make sure the water is lukewarm. The steam helps to reduce congestion and clear nasal passage. My baby sleeps so much better after this bath.
What you need:
Tub of warm water
10 drops of COLD N FLU blend
Voila! You’re good to go! Just give bath to your toddle with this water! This can be used for all age groups! You may increase the drops to 16 for adults.
2. Sleep therapy
Adding 2-3 drops of COLD N FLU blend to the pillow of your kid can also help and is a quick idea!
3. Massage therapy
My baby loves a massage before dozing off to sleep and this is when I add 5 drops of eucalyptus oil to 1 tbsp. of olive/ coconut oil. Gentle massage on the chest & back can do wonders! In the end rub your hands and let you kid smell them for a few seconds!
